Multimedia completo no Ubuntu

Aprendi o que rescrevo abaixo, aqui.

Ao instalar o excelente substituto do iTunes, Amarok, me deparei com o fato de que ele não possuía suporte a MP3. Ele mesmo fornecia a opção de instalar este suporte, mas infelizmente nada acontecia. Depois de algum tempo no Google, encontrei a página linkada acima. Ela resolveu meu problema e ainda tornou o meu Ubuntu ainda mais compatível com as diversas medias.
Os passos que reproduzi para alcançar meus objetivos foram:

1 - Editei minhas sources:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

1.1 - Incluindo as linhas abaixo:

sudo apt-get update

3 - Mandei instalar pacotes específicos:

sudo apt-get install totem-xine totem-xine-firefox-plugin libxine-extracodecs flashplugin-nonfree msttcorefonts sun-java5-plugin skype banshee streamtuner xmms realplay f-spot

Pronto. Meu Amarok ficou bala e o resto do Ubuntu também!
